"Sadly, we received horrible customer service from Lora. She did not return phone calls or emails. When my mom called she was put on hold, and they would come back and state she was with a customer because she just did not want to take our calls. She states she did not receive the voicemails we left, did not receive the emails we left, did not receive the paperwork we mailed to her with our return address (which never came back to us). She told my parents to mail all this documentation, but then states it needs to be an in-person signature? Also, states she was "out of the office" etc. But here we are two days after her return to office and still no return message from her. We finally had to get in the car and drive to the agency (twice) to try to get a hold of her. When she came over to us, she plopped a paper in front of us to sign. Did not apologize and did not introduce herself when doing this. My mother had to ask if she was Lora. My parents (in their 80's) did not realize the signature needed to be in person) so three weeks has gone by with no refund of over a $600 premium. She said, "I told you the signature needed to be a wet signature". The lack of communication from her is what is so upsetting. She figured she told them once about the signature and was not going to revisit the issue again. Let my parents try to figure it out on their own. She was so rude in front of another customer who was at her desk. This does not reflect well on her or the agency. As we walked out she said. "have a good daaaaaaaaay" so sarcastically, I actually turned right around and went back in because I was so upset. I asked to speak to the owner at this point. I have never had such terrible customer service. This individual should not be working with the public nor with the older generation who may need some extra assistance with paperwork. Aaron was a great help both times I was in the office. He should get a raise just for having to sit next to her and apologize for her! In addition, in this day and age, requiring an in-person signature is not efficient. Docu-sign should be implemented. Maybe Fema requires the wet signature? Again, if she had communicated with us, maybe we would be able to answer this question. I have worked in Insurance for both MetLife Auto & Home and Farmers for over 30 years, so I find this situation very troubling."

She also helped setup my home and flood insurance for my new home here at the villages. I've heard alot of horror stories with people losing or not being able to find home coverage in this area. "It's nothing with this Kelly Matz office it's more of the 1800 number for the bad service. So I was a t-bone accident on march 22, 2024 where it messed up my back surgery and I had to turn the rental vehicle back in about a month now. We'll I asked to see if I could get a loaner or what I can do because I can't walk almost a hour and half and can't buy a bike because because it would be to much pain and would have to call off work which I can't afford to do. So who ever I talked to on Thursday May 9th 2024 about 2-3pm when I told them I need a rental vehicle tell all the paperwork that's been going back to back from my bank and insurance and he told me that THAT THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT MY DRIVING SITUATION. which is pretty insulting and degrading on an insurance company. And called on Friday to talk with a supervisor and I guess she was on a 4 hour lunch break because never got that return phone call either."

"I'd have to say this is about the worst insurance company I have ever dealt with. After numerous phone calls to them concerning a signed document, which they had and confirmed they had and I had nothing to worry about, they canceled my auto insurance out of the blue. I got a termination notice and refund check in the mail 9 days after they terminated my policy. The kicker, I didn't know my policy had been terminated and was driving with no insurance. Thanks State Farm. First class service UPDATE I went to the office and found out that it was human error on their part and a wrong form had been uploaded. It seems my golf cart form was uploaded in my car policy. The form I am referring to has to do with uninsured motorist. You would think after the amount of times I called about this form to make sure all was kosher, someone would have opened the document that was uploaded to check for accuracy and this could have been avoided. The agent did say he would fix it but I let him know that I had already secured insurance with another company. I also transferred my golf cart insurance to another company."
